HRE Wheels enthusiasts know full well that the P101 is the defining supercar wheel. Naturally, a P101 is to be matched to a 991 GT3 RS.
Here we have the perfect candidate. This is a brand new Porsche 991 GT3 RS that HG Motorsports took to the task of working on immediately after it got wrapped. SD Wrap did the wrap in a satin grey color that has been named battleship grey. The new color is the reason the guys at HGMS began calling it the Battleship 991 GT3 RS since day one.
After the car arrived at HG, they installed a BBI Autosport GT3 roll bar. The roll bar was powder-coated black to keep with the monochromatic theme. Naturally, the next step, the HRE P101 wheels were to be black.
The Satin Black P101 wheels measure 20” in the front and 21 in the back. The idea is for them to be bold, without overpowering the rest of the elements of the car. The task is accomplished perfectly by using Satin Black. Not only do they match the color scheme, but black appears understated under most circumstances. Just think about it this way, if these where were orange, red, or even white, your eye would be drawn to the wheels first and the car second. The balance of colors chosen ensures that a look at the car is a look at the entire car, at once.
The tires chosen are 265/35/20 front and 325/30/21 rear Dunlop Sport Maxx Race N0 OEM GT3 RS tires.
